چکیده
The article presents the results of studies one main crops modern world agriculture, common corn (Zea mays L.) Daniil variety. It is a culture versatile use and high productivity.Compared to wheat rice, corn, from point view its application, probably most diverse cereal crop.During research, same conditions temperature, humidity lighting were created in different containers. Germinated seeds planted container with chernozem, clay soil sawdust. Under conditions, achieved cultivation. In grain Zea L. germinated developed faster more evenly than other substrates. plant chernozem grew much stronger, root system developed. Its height was higher sawdust by about 4 cm, 3-4 cm. stage leaves. phase 2-3 leaves further development inhibited.

Effects of aluminum toxicity on maize (Zea mays L.) seedlings
Aluminum toxicity is one of the most deleterious factors for plant growth in acidic soils because over 50% of the world’s potentially arable lands are acidic. In recent years, considerable research has been conducted to understand the mechanisms of Al toxicity and tolerance in plants. This paper reviews the effects of different concentration of Al on plant shoot, root physiological parameters s...
متن کاملRecombination in Zea Mays
meiotic process in plants or animals does not necessarily produce the same T:!rcentage of recombinants in male and female germ cells. In maize, the frequency of recombination in a particular chromosomal region is usually higher in microsporogenesis than in megasporogenesis, if a difference exists at all. Chromosomes 2 and 10, according to genetic tests thus far, have similar recombination frequ...
متن کاملEpistasis in Maize (zea Mays
ISHER (1918) provided a framework for the characterization of genotypic variance whereby he partitioned it into three components: ( 1 ) a portion associated with the average effects of genes, (2) a portion associated with dominance effects (allelic interactions) of genes, and (3) a portion associated with epistatic effects (nonallelic interactions) of genes. A logical method for the further sub...
متن کاملDevelopment of Enzymes Involved in Photosynthetic Carbon Assimilation in Greening Seedlings of Maize (Zea mays).
Upon illumination of dark-grown maize seedlings (5 days old) with incandescent light, there occurred a nearly simultaneous increase, after a certain lag period, in the activities of enzymes engaged in the C(4) pathway and the Calvin-Benson cycle. The light-induced biosynthesis of chlorophyll (a and b) precedes the increase in enzyme activities and proceeds without lag phase. A diphasic feature ...
متن کاملEvaluation of oxidative stress tolerance in maize (Zea mays L.) seedlings in response to drought.
Seedlings of selected six genotypes of maize (Zea mays L.) differing in their drought sensitivity (LM5 and Parkash drought-tolerant and PMH2, JH3459, Paras and LM14 as drought-sensitive) were exposed to 72 h drought stress at two leaf stage. Alterations in their antioxidant pools combined with activities of enzymes involved in defense against oxidative stress were investigated in leaves. Activi...
